The BBA-4000 is a solar powered wireless infrared break beam system that is simple to install and requires no wiring. The break beam sensors are powered by lithium ion batteries that are recharged through the solar panels on the front and rear of the unit or via transformer during the day. Because the unit is self powered there is no need to run wires for power.

Installation time can be as little as a few minutes. The infrared transmitter's can be mounted up to 100 metres apart and will send a signal back to the DCR-4000 receiver up to 1600 metres (1.6KM)* away anytime someone passes between the sensors.

The break beam sensor is a point to point sensor and will not be activated by any motion outside of the monitored beam. The sensors are not affected by small objects such as falling leaves or birds. It can be mounted high enough to avoid dogs and other animals but it will detect any intruder walking through the beam area. The beam sensor is ideal for outdoor applications such setting up a perimeter around car or timber yards or across the front of open machinery sheds, etc. 

Multiple sensor pairs can be used to send a signal to one receiver if you wish to set up a perimeter. Up to 16 transmitters sets can go back to the receiver each with a separate identifying tone.

The SR-4000 smart receiver will connect to your local Wi-Fi network and send a push notification to your smart phone. The SR-4000 smart receiver will also play one of 16 tunes whenever a signal is received, and it will also give a relay output and 12 VDC output.
