The WHA-1000 is a very reliable, easy to install driveway alarm which uses a pressure sensitive rubber hose to detect vehicles.

The transmitter operates on one 9volt battery and has an 8m, 10mm diameter exterior hose that lies across the drive. When a vehicle drives over the hose, a signal will be sent to the WR-1000 receiver up to 1000m* away.

The transmitter is simply screw mounted near the gate entrance, and the receiver plugs into a standard power point in the location where you want to receive the alarm signal.
